Garratt Sunday 2008!

For the 6th year running, we’re proud to present Garratt Sunday on the 15th June! This is the one time of year that there’s an opportunity for all Garratt lovers to meet up & not only run Garratts, but exchange news & tips, see many Garratts in action, run extra long trains & generally enjoy the atmosphere of a day of Garratt action & all that goes with it.

Many of you have attended running days at the South Arbury Railway before, but for those who haven’t, here’s the low-down:

The event is held at the South Arbury Railway in Waterbeach near Cambridge from 1200 until 6pm.
Free refreshments will be available as will the usual Butane/mix gas, coal & oil at the best prices.

The South Arbury Railway is a 4 scale mile circuit of 32mm double track, which is suitable for manual & radio control, having no gradients steeper than 1 in 200 or curves sharper than 7ft radius.
Boiler certificates are not required & although the event is free, we suggest a £1 donation that will assist us in producing the free quarterly newsletter & distributing them at events like this one.
